Up early to catch the 8:30 Allahabad Jaipur SF Express. Allahabad has changed its name to Prayagraj, but the train hasn’t changed its name. Arriving just around 1 pm I made my way to the Jaipur Hotel New, down a wholesale pharmaceutical alleyway, inside the pink city. A short rest, then off to meet up with Vikram Chauhan to hammer out the details of a 14-day horse trek across Rajasthan. Originally, I had envisioned a horse trek – yoga combo, but after getting into the details, it was obvious that time and energy would be better served by making two separate adventures.
