I think we are having too much fun to call this work!

The ladies and I unveil our new line of Gopi skirts and anarkali dresses!  What do you think??

Watch this short video (~2 mins.) and see if you agree.  You might even catch my cameo dance appearance!

Custom made to your exact measurements and colors for a dress you will love to wear!

Long, flowing anarkali dresses are so flattering to any figure.  The anarkali dress outfit is a combination of a long flowing empress waisted dress, tight fitting leggings and a matching scarf.  Pictured below, is a soft red and white cotton anarkali outfit.  The cotton was hand printed in Jaipur with wooden fabric printing blocks.  Black lycra leggings are pictured, but you can also have matching leggings made as well.   Matching red scarf in organza with hand beaded fringes.

The anarkali suit dates back to the Mughal Era in India, around 1600s. These suits are named after Anarkali (which means pomegranate blossom),  a very beautiful courtesan in the court of the Great Emperor Akbar.   The Emperor’s son, crown prince Jahangir fell hopelessly in love with her, which really ticked off dad.  She was buried alive by the order of the Emperor Akbar for having an affair with his son.  While this love story lived on, the anarkali dress went out of fashion, and only just within the last few years has been making a come back in India and around the world.  Why?!  Well, the great thing about an anarkali outfit is that it flatters every body type – what more could a woman want?!  It accentuates the chest and the long flowing dress pleats cover up a multitude of bumps, bulges and bad eating decisions.

We custom make our Anarkali dresses so they fit and flatter perfectly.

Next up, we’ll show you some of our Gopi Skirts!
